Make Your Own Shirt - Wear Them Tomorrow!
This palette is very personal to me, in light of the events in Arkansas this week, I felt something needed to be said, to be done. I have many friends who are homosexual, who are beautiful, who are brave, who are AMAZING. My heart breaks for the pressures & pain happening all over the world and in my very own state. While this is in direct support of the Gay Lesbian Bi & Trans-gender Community, this is also in complete support of the community of the world. Hate & discrimination only destroy what is beautiful about the world we have been given to take care of, it destroys the people who are and will be placed in our lives to LOVE.
For anyone who has ever been bullied for any reason— WE LOVE YOU.
On Friday (tomorrow) – October 29th, 2010 – a group of Arkansans will be wearing purple shirts with the words “We Love You” painted across the front. We encourage anyone to participate to spread awareness, support & love for their neighbors. Be creative, be passionate, be LOVING. We have created a Hashtag for Twitter for anyone who would like to share their support– feel free to post a picture of your shirt at #weloveyou2010 – and also share on your Facebook Profile.
